Adam, Timothy and Aaliyah

We are a super chill family of two dudes and a dog. We met in Chicago but were looking to make the move to Austin for a warmer climate, lots of great food, and a chill but fun vibe. We were married during the pandemic and had a lovely wedding with a total of 8 guests in person and a few dozen on zoom. We both love food – Timothy cooks, Adam eats. And entertaining is a big part of our life. Far beyond the party scene, we prefer small gatherings of good friends over food, wine, and cocktails. Praying for end to covid madness!

Adam Stanley

Adam is the a corporate guy. He was born and raised in Chicago but has loads of family in Dallas, Charlotte, and Atlanta. And everyone wanted to know why he is still living in a cold climate. He is a tech enthusiast, active in the startup and VC community, and an immense food and wine lover.

Timothy is a native of Omaha, Nebraska that lived in Chicago for 14 years and is determined to never spend another winter in the midwest. He is a professionally trained chef and until Covid ran a rooftop restaurant in downtown Chicago called Raised, an Urban Rooftop Bar. He is an avid biker and is most excited about starting a garden and joining the Austin culinary community. Timothy is a High Life kind of guy. He is an amazing real estate agent and you should DEFINITELY call him for renting, buying or selling.

Aaliyah runs the show as a 26 lb mini-goldendoodle that is the most loving and playful dog you will meet. An absolute sweetheart, Aaliyah likes the shade so will likely never walk from noon to 5 pm in Austin but loves the mornings and the evenings. She is equally in love with dogs and people and wants to be able to see her two Daddies as much as possible everyday.

Excited about making a life in Austin with our family and meeting new friends in our new city. Will miss everyone in Chicago but hope to have lots of visitors.
