Adam recently joined the fight for quality and equity in education by agreeing to leave corporate and become the first Chief Experience Officer for Teach For America. In this role, he is working alongside the executive team to transform services for corps members, alumni and staff of this impactful national community organization.

Adam Stanley is a technology and operations executive, people leader and public board director best known for building teams and driving change within industries and companies at inflection points. He has worked in banking, insurance and insurance brokerage, commercial real estate, and healthcare and currently serves on the Board of Directors of GATX Corporation, a global an equipment finance company based in Chicago, Illinois, and Church Mutual Insurance, based in Merrill, Wisconsin.

Adam served as CIO and Chief Digital Officer of Cushman & Wakefield and provided strategic and operational direction for Cushman & Wakefield’s client facing and colleague technology systems and infrastructure across all business lines and geographies. Also a member of the Global Management Team of Cushman, he advocated for the best solutions for the best clients, supported by the best talent. Adam also served as President and Director of the Cushman & Wakefield Charitable Foundation, Executive Sponsor of UNITY, the LGBTQ+ employee resource group, and as interim Chief Human Resources Officer.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Adam served as Technology and Security Services Director for Aviva PLC, a FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 insurer and asset manager and the world’s sixth largest insurer. Adam’s numerous global and U.S. leadership roles have also included serving as the Global Chief Technology Officer of Aon, a global provider of risk management, insurance, and reinsurance brokerage. He spent nearly 10 years with Deloitte in their Strategy and Operations consulting practice.

Adam holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School. He is active in the startup PropTech community as mentor or advisor to multiple accelerators. Adam lives in Austin Texas, with his husband Timothy and their dog Aaliyah where they help first-time homeowners purchase property as licensed Texas realtors.

As part of the Executive Leadership Team, have responsibility for all information technology and systems, processes and solutions including client-facing technology services. Focused on leading initiatives that improve productivity, increase agility, enhance shareholder value, and strengthen client services. (2014-2021)

Was brought in by this FTSE 100 insurer and asset manager to create a group-wide shared services provider for IT infrastructure and was given expanded role twice during term, first adding IT Supplier Management then all of the functions previously under a Chief Information Security Officer. Led global infrastructure services and solutions, end-to-end service management and operations, IT Supplier Management, and Business Protection functions for Aviva globally. (2012-2013)

AonAon Corporation, Global Chief Technology Officer

Served as chief technology officer of Aon, the leading global provider of risk management, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and human resources solutions and outsourcing services. Worked with IT partners and business leadership at Aon to establish and implement the firm’s global technology strategy. Provided oversight over all infrastructure, enterprise architecture, and shared technology in support of Aon’s presence in over 120 countries for over 60,000 colleagues. (2008-2011)

Responsible for delivery of all cross-business Technology Services and Solutions (both application support and infrastructure functions) provided to business units in North America including retail banking, mortgage, commercial and investment banking.
